"Just Add Water"

Films: Invasion of the Star Creatures (1962)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Haunted Home/Forest/Eldritch Location

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: We get it. This is supposed to be a comedy, so of course the monsters look like utter crap. Still, that's no excuse, and "Robot Monster" did better without even trying.

History: Alien vixens and scientists, Dr. Puna and Professor Tanga, hail from the planet Kalar, and plan on, what else, taking over the world. To help them, they literally water some alien house plants, and voila! Tall vegetable monsters at their command!

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: Ultimately, the monsters are put out of work when two bumbling Privates manage to render the two aliens powerless...by kissing them and making them their wives. This film is disgusting even for its time. Get bent, you vaguely misogynistic twat of a movie!

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 1-These miracle-grow-borne minions look like guys in full-body suits with potato bags over their heads and random plants all over them. What we're trying to say is that they're PATHETIC!!

Trivia: -Ironically, this film about man's lust over women triumphing was set to a double-feature with "The Brain that Wouldn’t Die", a film about a woman seeking justice for man's misdeeds.

-The original title for this film was "Monsters from Nicholson Mesa", referencing the co-founder of American International Pictures.
